Create’s Role:

Stewarts Lodge is in the London Borough of Lambeth, subject to the requirements of the London Plan.  The proposed development consists of two joined blocks of flats, comprising 56 apartments ranging from one to two bedrooms, over a maximum of five floors.

Create Energy produced a number of documents towards the full planning application for this site.  Firstly, a CfSH pre-assessment estimator, which demonstrates that the development can achieve Code Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.  Secondly, an Energy Assessment was produced which outlines how the development will meet the energy requirements of the Local Development Framework’s Core Strategy.  Thirdly, a Sustainability Statement which demonstrates how the principles of sustainable design and construction will be incorporated into the development in accordance with the Council’s Design Guidance.

The Drainage Strategy which was produced by the water team confirms the principles of surface water and foul drainage from site and enables relevant technical bodies to agree elements for the preliminary design
