17.10.2018

Create Consulting Engineers Ltd would like to welcome James Savage as Principal Infrastructure Engineer. James graduated with a BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering with Environmental Management from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Swansea. He gained early on-site Engineering experience of projects with BAM in Swansea.

Following graduation, James worked with a Structural and Civil Consultancy firm based in Bristol. He moved to Norwich to work with Clancy Consulting in 2014. James was engaged in many varied projects following his graduation, being involved with the design, detailing and project management of a wide range of Building and Civil Engineering projects in the UK.

In 2016, James then moved to Design Management at Balfour Beatty Ltd where he worked on the F35 Infrastructure Development at RAF Marham. James, in conjunction with major stakeholders and subcontractors, worked to make sure the coordination of the design was built to the tight deadlines that were required.

James is a member of the Royal Air Force Reserves, which keeps him busy during the weekends and gives him more skills that can be utilised at work. He was recently mobilised into active service for a year in 2017 and spent 6 months in the Falkland Islands with the Military Police, where he was also sworn in as a special constable for the Falkland Islands Police Force.

James lives in Norwich and is a keen footballer and also enjoys playing tennis and watching films in his spare time.
